Battle Of The Year 2008 World Finals Is Upon Us

Print This Print This

It is that time of year again in the B-Boying global community. Battle Of The Year World Finals 2008 is now upon us in Braunschweig, Germany on October 18! Who will own the crown this year and from which country? You better believe the crown champions never win by luck or by accident.

From over 30 regional battles around the world, B-Boys gather in Germany for the biggest global dance showdown ever assembled. Every continent where Hip Hop culture lives gives birth to dance crews who craft their way to the finals. Every competition is seriously earned. This means no freebies or mistakes allowed. There are no curves in scoring. It is a simple judging system where style, skill, aesthetics, and difficulty of execution allows the winner to take all.

For the past several years B-Boy crews have dominated from Korea, Japan, and France with no holds barred power moves and finesse. Will these nations meet a new world power? We shall see!

Thanks to the world community, and best said by Benson Lee of Planet B-Boy fame, the art of the B-Boy has evolved. Go see for your self!
