3803156911 1f4cd216a0 Cuban Hip Hop: The Next RevolutionOld School Scholar has the world in mind when it comes to the Hip Hop culture. It is very important for us to give the international audience a looking glass into Hip Hop’s influence in other countries and social groups, and how it has impacted people’s lives to open up and express themselves.

We are going to show you four videos documenting how the Hip Hop culture is impacting youths in Cuba. I encourage you to open your minds and see the bare bone essence of what Hip Hop truly is at its core. This modern day environment is only thirty years removed to what the South Bronx and Harlem use to look like prior to urbanization projects.

In simple terms, these brothers and sisters are working with what they got; not what they don’t have. And a second revolution is on its way!

Enjoy!
