Kung Fu Saturdays: Crippled Avengers starring The Venom Mob!
Q Ball
Q Ball is a South Florida inner city native who has embraced Hip Hop culture ever since He first heard "Rapper's Delight" in 1979. His journey to live the culture was enhanced during the massive relocation boom of New Yorkers throughout the 80s which gave South Florida the nickname, "The 6th Borough." His enthusiasm lead him into the skills of Lyricism, Graff Writing, and Track Producing and now writes for Old School Scholar.
I remember watching this movie when I was ten years old, and it was unlike any other martial arts movie I have ever seen. Even to this day no one has ever emulated the concept and chemistry of their main characters in an action movie like this! The only other movie that comes to mind that resembles this chemistry is the comedy See No Evil, Hear No Evil starring Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder.
Crippled Avengers has typical tones of vengeance and good vs evil themes, but the adversity our heroes have endured also contribute additional themes: falling down to learn the art of getting back up and common strangers forming a brotherhood. It is fantastic!
