But, wait a minute! This movie is not all fun and games. The storyline consists of a kung fu master, by the name of Chan, who gets hustled by a brothel-owning gangster forcing his sister into prostitution. To avoid retaliation, the gangster cripples Chan’s hands. This act of brutality degrades Chan into the role of a street entertainer who puts on shows with his pet monkey…until the opportunity for revenge comes knocking!
This movie’s style feels like a precursor to the careers of Jackie Chan and Stephen Chow. It is a lot of fun!
