Welcome back!

Shaolin and Wu Tang Kung Fu SatudaysToday is another Gordon Liu legendary film, Shaolin and Wu Tang, for Kung Fu Saturdays at Old School Scholar. This is the flick which deeply inspired RZA to conceptually form his group The Wu Tang Clan. RZA acknowledged this film demonstrated the most beautiful sword fighting he has ever seen in kung fu movies which is why it was so profound in his breakout success with The Wu Tang Clan. You may hear many sound bites which were sampled in the groundbreaking production of the Clan’s debut album Enter The Wu Tang [36 Chambers ].

You got to love this movie for its classic rivalry of two temples coerced by a manipulating lord who wishes them both destroyed. Shaolin and Wu Tang must be in your video collection if you really love kung fu movies!
