The Venom Mob is back in another classic Chang Cheh directed film for Shaw Brothers Studios called The Magnificent Ruffians (aka The Destroyers.) Oh, man, this is definitely a nasty old school kung fu flick with white hats and black hats like an old Western movie!

The Magnificent Ruffians is a unique kung fu action film where one master, Lu Feng, monopolizes all of the businesses in town which in part causes fighting adversaries to leave. Only one business was not acquired which is owned by a skilled fighter, Lo Mong, and his family whom he harasses often. However, Lu Feng does not engage in violence against them due to his personal affections for Lo Mong’s sister.

You get the picture. He wants his cake and eat it, too.

The standoff eventually escalates after Lu Feng recruits four other fighters, and then all hell breaks loose as the saying goes. As the story moves along Lu Feng is one manipulative, dirty bastard!

What a wonderful Kung Fu Saturday when you get a classic recipe consisting the Venom Mob and Chang Cheh! Eat this up and Enjoy!
