Rock The Bells: Hip Hop’s Woodstock

A Tribe Called QuestFor anyone who wants to represent the true school of Hip Hop and evangelize a “crunk head,” you got to go to Rock The Bells 2008 International Festival Series! It is the annual oasis of Hip Hop which has been growing since 2003! Revered as “A World-Class Hip Hop Platform,” Rock The Bells is boasting over 20 acts, 2 stages, and a cultural vendor village to quench every thirsty true school head in your area. All ages are welcomed!

Respect, represent, and recognize this is Hip Hop’s yearly family reunion. Your Brothers and Sisters will be there!

The tour begins in North America with international scheduling to be announced for the first time ever in Europe (4 stops) and Japan. The first international Rock The Bells show will be September 20 at the 02 Arena in London, England. Legendary acts headlining the tour are:The Pharcyde

A Tribe Called Quest, Nas, Mos Def, De La Soul, Rakim, Method Man & RedMan, Raekwon & Ghostface Killah, Immortal Technique, Dead Prez, and reunited for the first time in years, The Pharcyde!

Other Headlined artists include: Murs, Spankrock, Kid Sister, Santogold, The Cool Kids, Jay Electronica, Wale, B.O.B, Kidz in the Hall, and Flosstradamus. The festival is hosted by B-Real of Cypress Hill, Scratch of The Roots, and the infamous freestyle legend, Supernatural. More acts and surprised guest appearances to be announced at each scheduled venue. Tickets can be purchased at Tickmaster.

This tour reminds me of the old days when we were blessed with venues like The Fresh Fest, The Def Jam Tour, and The Dope Jam Tour which all were heavily lined up with the best rap artists on the planet! I will definitely be there!
