The DJ Needs A Pacemaker!

Da Emazing One

Da Emazing One is without a doubt an Old School Scholar. Ever since the year of 1979, when He first heard "Let's Dance To The Drummer's Beat", Emazing was not only hooked, He was infused. His new passion launched Him into the skills of Lyricism, B-Boying, and Graff Writing. Hip Hop gave Him a reason to have a voice, and He now writes for Old School Scholar which gives you the true idea of the type of voice He has.

Don’t you think it’s challenging enough for DJs to cut and scratch with CDs ever since they did away with vinyl? Nowadays, it’s even more of a challenge for DJs to find two songs of different tempos to mix with. Is it me or is it the same non-talented producer making all of these rap songs coming out today? Why do I ask? No matter what’s new, it all has the same tempo! In fact, damn near every song has the same exact drum track!

Have you ever noticed since the early 90s almost every four years the tempo for rap songs have gotten slower? Currently, the tempo in rap music is at its all time slowest! it is so lethargically sleep inducing, as in comatose, for a real DJ to build a desire to want to mix these songs.

Never did I receive an invitation to Variety’s funeral, and I never knew that Versatility was on life support either. Both have been drowned by Monotony!

And by the way, here is my final note for you Sucker Ducks out there. The Bloodsucking Corporate Machine, or BCM, has deceived you weak rappers into the illusion of following whomever is supposed to be hot! Aren’t you allowed to think and create for yourselves? At this time I dare you to do at least eight songs that’s above 100 beats per minute. Try to give a DJ a reason to want to even buy two of your tracks to spin with! I can bet you my bottom dollar that you can’t do it!
